In France, 150 handguns were seized in a large-scale arms smuggling operation allegedly linked to the "Daltons" criminal organization. The Glock-type pistols, believed to have been brought from Germany to France, were reportedly sold for between €1,300 and €2,800 each. AFP reported that at least eight Turkish citizens have been arrested in connection with the investigation.

At least 150 firearms were seized on Thursday 10 September during a large-scale police operation between Paris and Marseille. During this operation, twelve men, including a large majority of Turks, were arrested in several departments in France.
