OPELOUSAS — An Opelousas student has been arrested for allegedly hitting a teacher who tried to break up a fight at Northwest HIgh School.

Orentheal Cleavon Sallier, Jr., 17, of Opelousas, is charged with two counts of simple battery and one count each of battery of a teacher and terrorizing.
