One in Five Home Sellers Cut Prices as Buyer’s Market Persists - The MortgagePoint

The share of sellers reducing asking prices reached its highest level for this time of year since Redfin’s records began in 2022, with Denver leading major metros at 30.9%. Redfin reports that 21% of U.S. home sellers dropped their asking price during the four weeks ending Sept. 20, up slightly from 19.8% a year earlier and the highest share for this time of year in Redfin’s records.
