Olive Oil Prices Could Rise Again Due to Heat and Drought in Europe

Olive oil prices could rise again this autumn after extreme heat, drought and wildfires hit olive groves and other crops across Europe. Producers warn that olive groves have burned in Greece, Italy and Portugal, while groves not directly affected by the fires are also exposed to ash, poor air quality, pests, diseases and strong storms. High temperatures also affect the size of the fruit, writes the BBC.
