(Oldenburg, IN) – The opening of the Oldenburg Museum will be celebrated on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The aim of the historical museum located in the Hackman-Munchel General Store Building at the corner of Main and Pearl streets is to preserve and celebrate the Village of Spires’ rich German heritage. The all-volunteer museum staff invites the community, families and friends of Oldenburg to contribute photographs, artifacts, documents and other items that tell the story of the town’s unique heritage.
