The Government acknowledges that the national minimum wage will rise to 970 euros in 2027, as outlined in the agreement signed within the Social Concertation framework, according to the report accompanying the proposed State Budget for 2027 (OE2027).
The increase of the minimum wage to 970 euros in 2027 should advance according to terms already agreed in Social Concertation, despite the pressure of the trade unions to make the increase higher. The government plans to increase the national minimum wage to 97€ in 2027, an increase of 50€ compared to the current value of 92€.
The consolidated increase is part of the wage recovery agreement, despite differences between trade unions and employers.
