In the report accompanying the State Budget proposal for 2027 (OE2027), it is estimated that the tobacco consumption tax will yield EUR 1,864 million in the coming year, plus EUR 139 million (8.1%) than the estimated for the total year of 2026 (EUR 1,725 million).
The tax on alcohol, alcoholic beverages and added sugar or sweeteners (IABA) is expected to yield 392 million euros, over 27 million euros compared to the estimate for 2026.
