Oceania Cruises® Reveals Two All-New Culinary Concepts Debuting Aboard Oceania Sonata™
Oceania Cruises will introduce La Table, an 18-seat fine-dining venue, and Nikkei Kitchen, a Peruvian-Japanese fusion restaurant, aboard its Sonata ship debuting in August 2027.
- Oceania Cruises announced La Table par Maîtres Cuisiniers de France and Nikkei Kitchen aboard Oceania Sonata, presented at ILTM Cannes on Dec. 2, 2025.
- By aligning with Maîtres Cuisiniers de France, Oceania's culinary leadership includes La Table, which will debut with the MCF seal, a world‑first for a cruise line, and will feature the Dom Pérignon Experience.
- Designed as an ultra-intimate format, La Table will be a reservations-only venue limited to 18 guests per evening and will reprise the Dom Pérignon Experience — six-course tasting paired with three vintage Champagnes.
- Nikkei Kitchen will operate as a capacity-controlled, always-included venue, with Chef Gustavo Sugay collaborating on its menu and contributing 12 dishes, with no reservations required.
- Oceania Sonata will debut in August 2027 as the first of four Sonata Class ships with 1,390-guest capacity, 30% suites, and ten best-in-class culinary experiences; menus will be revealed next year.
