The Moldovan Railway (MMR) discovered an artillery shell at the time of the war and, as reported by the DMZ, the munition was found on 14 October during repairs at the Kaushana-Benderer railway site. No one was injured as a result of the incident. According to the DMV, the munition was found around 09:45 on the 17th kilometre of the railway at picket No. 8.
