NY weather update: Winter storm warning issued for Essex County until 2 a.m. Sunday – up to 18 inches of snow

On Saturday at 2:53 p.m. an updated winter storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until Sunday at 2 a.m. for Essex County.The weather service says, "Total snow accumulations of 8 to 18 inches, with locally 2 feet of snow in central and northeastern Vermont. Heaviest totals will occur south and east of Burlington."
