Nvidia, Foxconn in talks to deploy humanoid robots at Houston AI server making plant
HOUSTON, TEXAS, JUN 20 – Foxconn plans to fully automate NVIDIA's AI server assembly using humanoid robots, marking a first for both companies and expected by early 2026, sources told Reuters.
- Foxconn and Nvidia are negotiating to introduce humanoid robots at Foxconn’s new Houston facility, which will manufacture Nvidia’s AI servers, with plans to implement the technology in the near future.
- In April, Nvidia revealed plans to establish facilities in Texas focused on manufacturing AI supercomputers, with production expected to increase significantly over the next 12 to 15 months.
