GAYLORD, MI - Temperatures spiraled well below zero across Michigan this morning, and some areas saw numbers plunge to levels of record-breaking cold. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Gaylord said the daily cold temperature record in that city was broken at 5:24 a.m. today when the pre-dawn temps hit -21 degrees.
