If North Dakotans weren’t concerned about the growth of charitable gambling in the state they now have another reason to be wary. The Attorney General’s Office has accused the Beulah Convention and Visitors Bureau of unlawfully using gambling proceeds.

North Dakota’s Gaming Division says the Beulah CVB funneled gambling proceeds into prohibited expenses and tried to conceal the transactions. The state has ordered the organization to repay $398,287.
