STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Ahead of this weekend’s Nor’Easter, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority has announced that empty tractor-trailers and tandems will be prohibited from crossing the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge as of Saturday morning.
