The railway is renovating one of its most important sections in North Rhine-Westphalia: between Cologne, Wuppertal and Hagen, almost nothing is going on the tracks between the years. Travellers have to change buses - and schedule a little more time.

Shortly before the month-long general renovation, Deutsche Bahn will block the route from Cologne via Wuppertal to Hagen. From Friday evening to 2 January, passengers will have to switch to buses, long-distance trains will be diverted.
