No. 10 Women’s Volleyball Defeats Christopher Newport and UMass Boston

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 10 MIT women's volleyball team rallied to defeat Christopher Newport University, 25-17, 21-25, 17-25, 27-25, 15-12, to wrap up the Boston Invite and then the Engineers swept local foe UMass Boston, 25-15, 25-15, 25-16, in non-conference action on Saturday. For her performance during the Boston Invite, senior Ottavia Personeni (Bethesda, Md.) was named to the All-Tournament Team.
