A man has been accused of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs after allegedly running over a man travelling in a motorized wheelchair on Wednesday night, according to reports by the Newport police in Rhode Island, quoted by WJAR. Police came to the scene of the incident around 10:39 p.m., at number 11 Memorial Boulevard. Agents responding to the warning found the victim lying face down in the middle of the sidewalk.
