Bengaluru will see 2,500 km of roads improved at an Rs 8,000 crore cost. Officials were directed to expedite these works and ensure high quality standards. Potholes on arterial and sub-arterial roads will be surveyed and repaired immediately. Development of the remaining 200 km of stormwater drains is planned.
Urban Development Minister Krishna Byre Gowda held a high-voltage GBA progress review meeting today. After a long discussion with the officials, he announced important plans for the infrastructure development of Bengaluru. He said that major road development will be done in six months.
