A new skybox was installed yesterday on top of the historic headframe at the Heusden-Zolder mining site. The large structure was hoisted up in one piece and placed in its final position between the scaffolding. The installation is part of the thorough renovation of the protected headframe. A viewing platform with a view over the former mining site and the surrounding area will also be located on top of the new space. The renovation will continue…
