Geneva, Jul 2 (Latin Press) WMO celebrated the successful launch today of the third generation Meteosat probe (MTG-S1) that will provide European meteorological services with high-frequency data on temperature, humidity and gases trace in the atmosphere. EUMETSAT: Europe's First Geostationary Sounder Satellite Is Launched
The European Space Agency (ESA) and European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (Eumetsat) satellite took off Tuesday at 21:04 GMT from the Cape Canaveral Space Center in Florida, with the aim of continuing the revolution in the weather prediction brought by these third generation teams. Europe’s entry launches the MTG-S1 satellite in its revolution in weather prediction was first published in the Digital Process.

MTG-S1: The European satellite sent to the USA is intended to revolutionize weather forecasting and climate observation.
