The State and the Norwegian Reindeer Herding Association have reached an agreement on the Reindeer Herding Agreement 2026/2027. The agreement has a framework of NOK 275 million. This is an increase of NOK 25 million from the current agreement.

The State and the Norwegian Reindeer Sami National Association have agreed on a new reindeer husbandry agreement. Climate adaptation and emergency preparedness are among the agreement's main priorities.
