New Polls Paint Conflicting Pictures of Maine’s US Senate Race

Two late-October polls show conflicting leads in Maine's 2026 Senate race due to differing voter reactions to candidate controversies, according to Impact Research and Maine People’s Resource Center.

One survey shows political newcomer Graham Platner leading both Gov. Janet Mills and Sen. Susan Collins, while another projects that Collins would easily beat Platner in the 2026 general election.
