According to the Greek newspaper Kathimerini, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Greece are negotiating to send irregular migrants whose asylum applications have been rejected to a center planned to be established in Uganda starting in 2027. Initially, the plan is to accept between 5,000 and 10,000 people, and if an agreement cannot be reached with Uganda, Rwanda will be considered as an alternative.
