2026 Jeep Avenger Facelift with Illuminated Grille Unveiled
Jeep said the updated small SUV adds a sharper front end and the brand’s first illuminated seven-slot grille, with South America production due this year.
- Three years after launch, Jeep revealed the facelifted Jeep Avenger at the Todo Mundo no Rio music festival, debuting the brand's first illuminated seven-slot grille on the compact SUV.
- New wheel arches and bumpers are said to "reinforce the feeling of being in a Jeep, as well as excellent approach, departure, and ground clearance angles." The Avenger also gains X-shaped tail-lights aligned with global brand design.
- Additional updates include new paint options, roof racks, and an 18-inch wheel design. Spy photos suggest a larger interior touchscreen, though Jeep has not confirmed any technical or mechanical changes to the model.
- Production of the Avenger for South America is expected to begin this year at the company's plant in Porto Real, Brazil. Currently, the vehicle is manufactured in Poland and exported throughout Europe and to Australia.
- The Avenger has attracted strong sales in Europe, helping reverse declining market performance. In Australia, the story differs sharply, with Jeep selling just 97 examples in 2025, competing against the BYD Atto 2 and Geely EX2.
