Constantino won by 2 percentage points, according to the Associated Press, and will replace Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik in Congress.
On Friday, Republican Anthony Constantino won election to represent New York's 21st Congressional District, defeating Democrat Blake Gendebien for the U.S. House seat.
Constantino says he was recruited to run by Roger Stone, a Trump ally, and his company Sticker Mule prominently advertises his support for President Donald Trump.
The Associated Press declared Constantino the winner at 11:23 a.m. EST, with the margin separating him from Gendebien just two percentage points.
Gendebien conceded the race, thanking the more than 85,000 supporters who contributed and expressing hope that Constantino will prioritize the North Country.
Constantino will replace Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik, marking a tighter contest than the Republican leads in the previous two elections.
