Water Rates in New Glasgow Rising

Customers of the New Glasgow Water Utility will paying more. The Nova Scotia Regulatory and Appeals Board approved an application for adjustments to the town’s water rates recently. Town officials say the increases for customers are 14.5 per cent this year, 13.8 per cent in 2027 and 13.5 per cent in 2028.
