New Fortress Energy Disqualified From Puerto Rico Power Auction

(Bloomberg) — New Fortress Energy has been disqualified from an auction held by the Puerto Rican government to secure temporary power generation, the latest setback for billionaire Wes Edens’ troubled company.

According to the company, its offer of 25 cents per kilowatt hour – above the existing average cost – was lower than those selected by the government.
