New book tells little-known story of Carbon County railroad

Summary by Ground News
Robert A. Schalla's "Black Diamonds from the Treasure State" tells the little known story of the Montana, Wyoming and Southern Railroad. The railroad was built in 1906, and started running coal shortly after. It transported untold amounts of coal from the mines at Bearcreek and Washoe, the latter of which was owned by the Anaconda Copper Mining Company.
