Nevada unemployment at 5.1% as initial claims decrease, DETR reports

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Unemployment inched down across the state in March a month after Nevada gave up its highest-in-the-nation ranking to California in February. Seasonally adjusted statewide unemployment dropped 5.1%, the same rate reported in the Las Vegas metro area, according to the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation (DETR).
