From Wednesday morning until Friday, investigators from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), in collaboration with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and other police forces, conduct searches against suspected phishing fraudsters.

The Sûreté du Québec and the RCMP estimate that these alleged fraudsters arrested in Montreal on Wednesday would have killed only 1.2 million people in Canada.
