Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said this Saturday that if the leaders of the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas were to be eliminated, the war in Gaza would end.He spoke in advance of a visit by U.S. head of diplomacy Marco Rubio. Rubio's view of Israel occurs despite the unusual reprimand of U.S. President Donald Trump for the Israeli attack on Hamas leaders in Qatar, a close ally of Washington.
In a post on social network X, Israel's prime minister further stated that the terrorist chiefs living in Qatar do not care about the people living in the conflict zone.
After the Israeli strike in Qatar against members of the Palestinian movement, hostage families claim, for their part, that the Israeli Prime Minister is an "obstacle" to the end of the conflict in the enclave.
