Anthony Colandrea throws for 4 TDs in Nebraska’s 56-7 rout of Bowling Green

Nebraska defeated Bowling Green 56-7 on Saturday night at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, dominating the matchup from start to finish.
Bowling Green served as a replacement opponent after Nebraska Athletic Director Troy Dannen cancelled a Tennessee series to pursue an eighth home game in 2027.
Quarterback Anthony Colandrea threw for 222 yards and four touchdowns, with receivers Jacory Barney and Kwazi Gilmer each catching two scoring passes.
Freshman Jamal Rule powered the ground attack with 88 rushing yards and a 59-yard touchdown, as Nebraska accumulated 546 total yards of offense.
The Cornhuskers host North Dakota on Sept. 19 at Memorial Stadium, building on their 2-0 start to the season.
