OXFORD, Ohio– Matteo Giampa scored 70 seconds into overtime and (RV/RV) Miami edged (RV/RV) St. Cloud State 6-5 in an overtime thriller Friday night in front of a capacity crowd at Steve "Coach" Cady Arena.   Six different RedHawks scored a goal in the contest to help Miami improve to 8-3-0, 2-3-0 NCHC. Gavyn Thoreson led the Huskies (6-7-0, 1-4-0 NCHC) with a pair of goals.

OXFORD, Ohio – St. Cloud State Men's Hockey (6-7-0, 1-4-0 NCHC) came back from two-goal deficits twice, but couldn't ever gain the lead, falling 6-5 in overtime to Miami (8-3-0, 2-3-0 NCHC) on Friday night at Goggin Ice Center in Oxford, Ohio. The Huskies trailed 5-3 with 5:31 left in the game before scoring twice in the span of 100 seconds, only to give up a goal early in the extra period.

OXFORD, Ohio — The St. Cloud State men's hockey team came back from two two-goal deficits and tied the game three times, but Miami picked up a 6-5 overtime win in an NCHC game on Friday, Nov. 21. The Huskies trailed 2-0 and 5-3, but tied the score both times. The Huskies, however, were unable to ever play with a lead. SCSU (1-3-0-0-1 NCHC, 6-7 overall) and Miami (1-3-0-1-0, 8-3) play the second game of their series at 5 p.m. Saturday (NCHC.tv). …
