Traslacion 2026: NCRPO hopes to cut procession time to 10-12 hours
The National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO) said Sunday that they hope to cut procession of the 2026 Traslacion during the annual feast of Jesus Nazareno in Manila to around 10 to 12 hours from last year's which was over 20 hours.
Nazareno participants expected to exceed 8 million
The number of devotees who will join the procession of the Feast of Jesus Nazarene on Jan. 9 are expected to exceed the eight million participants last year as the Quiapo Church announced the closure of bridges and roads for the celebration.
Some personnel of the Communication and Electronic Service of the National Capital Region Police Office or NCRPO went to the Minor Basilica and National Shrine of Jesus Nazareno. This was to check if the CCTVs around Quiapo, Manila are in good condition.
