Naughty Dog Is Reportedly Developing a New Uncharted Game Featuring Nathan Drake
Shaun Escayag is reportedly leading the project, and Nathan Drake will return in some capacity, according to MP1st.
- According to MP1st, Naughty Dog is developing a new Uncharted game featuring Nathan Drake that will be a new entry in the series rather than a remake.
- Naughty Dog veteran Shaun Escayag is leading the project, with the studio planning to return to the series after finishing Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
- Industry leaker NateTheHate confirmed Escayag is working on this project rather than The Last initiatives, while Escayag previously teased it after visiting Trindad earlier this year for "research."
- While Nathan Drake will appear in the game, his specific role remains unclear, and series creator Neil Druckmann has not revealed whether these projects will be shows, films, or games.
- Expected to be years away, the new Uncharted game follows Naughty Dog's planned 2027 reveal of Intergalactic, with fans potentially seeing it during the first half of the PS6 lifecycle.
