The government approved on Friday the necessary rules for the application of the National Geological Program, provided for by a law adopted in 2018, but which could not be implemented so far. The program will allow research of Romania's mineral resources, including critical raw materials, mineral and geothermal waters and resources that could be recovered from the decanting ponds and sterile shelters.
