Foot-and-mouth disease spreads to Namibia’s Zambezi Region

Namibia's foot-and-mouth outbreak has spread to a second region, the country's Ministry of Agriculture has confirmed. First detected in the southern Kharas region, the disease has now been found in Zambezi.

Namibia has confirmed an outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) in the northeastern Zambezi Region, becoming the second region affected after earlier cases were detected in the southern Kharas Region.
