In order to further determine the origin of the increased concentrations of certain heavy metals, a second round of sampling is planned for next month and November. Soil samples will be taken from a depth of 0 to 30 cm, and in some locations even deeper.
No contamination was detected in all 72 samples of agricultural crops near Ubork.
