Alexej von Jawlensky lived in Wiesbaden for 20 years. Now the Expressionist's archive has been transferred to the state museum there. When will the public be able to see anything of it?
Letters, photos and personal memorabilia: The family archive of the Expressionist painter Alexej von Jawlensky has moved to the Museum Wiesbaden. Passed by his granddaughter, parts of the collection will be visible to the public from 2027.
