Grid congestion: electric cars may no longer charge at all in Utrecht

If it is up to various parties in the city council, the use of electric cars in Utrecht will soon also be partially curbed. To prevent grid congestion, all charging stations in the city should be switched off during parts of the day, that's the idea. Councillor Lot van Hooijdonk (GroenLinks) states that completely disabling all municipal charging stations is possible.
