Multiple crews respond to an apartment building fire in Avon

AVON, Conn. (WTNH) – Multiple fire crews from Berlin, Wethersfield, Newington and more responded to a fire at a large multi-family apartment building in Avon Sunday night.  Avon Fire Chief Bruce Appell tells us that the call came in at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.
