The engine company MTU Aero Engines plans to grow strongly in the next few years with passenger aviation. However, as the first outlook for 2026 is rather cautious, investors are disappointed.
MTU Aero Engines reports an adjusted operating profit increase of 29% to 1.35 billion euros and a surplus increase of 60% to more than one billion euros. "The figures are very good overall," says Andreas Lipkow, Chief Market Analyst of CMC Markets at Dietmar Deffner.

MTU Aero Engines AG reported reaching a record revenue of EUR 8.7 billion in fiscal year 2025. The Munich-based company saw adjusted operating profit rise 29% to EUR 1.4 billion, while adjusted net income increased 27% to EUR 968 million. The company met its 2025 guidance after raising targets several times throughout the year.
