MPI strike talks could get boost from conciliator Thursday

Summary by Ground News
1,700 workers around the province have been on strike since August 28, with wage increases the main sticking point. A conciliator helped broker a deal between MGEU and another Crown corporation, Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries, late last month. The union still prefers to work out a deal at the bargaining table rather than have a deal imposed upon its members without a chance to vote.
