Motorola Signature 27 Goes Official with True Flagship Specs and a $1,599 Price Tag
Motorola announced the Signature 27, featuring the world's brightest smartphone display peaking at 12,000 nits and running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip. The device launches November 26.
Built for durability, the Signature 27 features an aerospace-grade aluminum frame with Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 and a tactile, automotive-inspired finish. Dual IP68 and IP69 ratings allow it to withstand high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns.
The Signature 27 introduces a dedicated "Event-Based Vision Sensor," which Motorola claims is a smartphone first. Its rear camera system includes a 50MP Sony Lytia L910 main shooter and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with 100x digital zoom.
Powering the device is a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which Motorola claims lasts 66 hours of mixed usage. The phone integrates Google's Gemini Intelligence within the Motorola Qira platform, enabling real-world task management and personalized widgets.
Retailing for $1,599, the Signature 27 will be available for preorder starting November 19. Consumers can purchase the device directly from Motorola, Best Buy, or Amazon when it hits store shelves November 26, positioning it above Apple and Samsung competitors.
