Daniel Holgado won the Moto2 class qualifying for the Malaysian Grand Prix convincingly. Angel Piqueras and Izan Guevara will complete the front row, while championship leader Manuel Gonzalez finished ninth. In Moto3, Maximo Quiles was fastest.
