Mother in ICU after throwing daughter out of burning apartment

On Friday morning, a fire at a Milwaukee apartment building near Loomis and Fardale left five people injured, and a mother threw her daughter from a second-story window to safety.
Authorities arrested Keith Alan Luko on Jan. 16 after prosecutors said he admitted to pouring gasoline and igniting it, allegedly upset about neighbors smoking marijuana.
The mother remains in the ICU under heavy sedation and on a breathing tube while Ni'lah was released with minor injuries, and Luis Ramirez, the father, said 'We are 50/50 right now'.
Prosecutors filed seven felony charges including arson of a building, first-degree reckless injury, and five counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety.
Ramirez has set up a GoFundMe as the family heals; three days after the fire he said he's grateful his daughter is okay while local news pledged ongoing coverage.
