Presidential Race in Romania: Final Election Started

Almost 19 million Romanian citizens who are entitled to vote from home and abroad are today asked to vote for the ballot boxes in order to determine their new head of state by direct elections. The approximately 19,000 polling stations in the country opened at 07.00 local time and will close at 9 p.m., with extended opening hours (until midnight) possible in case of long queues.
