The US biotechnology laboratory Moderna has announced its intention to carry out, depending on market conditions and other factors, a private placement of $2 billion (€1,715 million) in convertible senior bonds with maturity in 2032 among "persons who are reasonably considered qualified institutional buyers".

Company has informed that it intends to use resources for general purposes, such as investments in the business of oncology and payment of debts
