Moderna seeks US FDA approval for Omicron Covid booster for children over 6 years

In a request to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Boston-based biotech has requested that omicron shots be approved for teenagers ages 12 to 17 and children ages 6 to 11. By the end of this year, the company will seek FDA approval for omicron shots for six-month-olds through six-year-olds.
