Mizzou adds proven scorer Jordan Crawford to a reloaded backcourt
Jordan Crawford averaged 12.2 points and 2.9 rebounds last season and gives Mizzou another veteran guard for its rebuilt backcourt.
On Tuesday, Missouri added South Dakota transfer guard Jordan Crawford to its roster, marking the team's fifth portal pickup of the offseason following his Monday visit to Columbia.
Crawford brings experience from three college programs, having averaged 14.4 points while shooting 41.4 percent from the field last season, providing necessary backcourt depth behind freshman Jason Crowe Jr.
Mizzou fans saw Crawford perform in November when he scored 18 points against the Tigers; he shot 36.8 percent from 3-point range last season on 6.5 attempts per game.
Head coach Dennis Gates has reshaped the roster by adding Crawford alongside transfers Kennard Davis Jr. and Jamier Jones, completing the Tigers' 14-player roster for 2026-27.
With the 13th-ranked incoming portal class nationally, the Tigers bolster their competitiveness heading into the 2026-27 season, positioning the roster as complete following this final addition.
